EdTech Copywriter For Hire

I’m an EdTech copywriter who helps EdTech businesses in regional Australia save time and money by making their content easier to understand.

Who I work with

I work with small business owners in regional Australia who work in Education Technology (or EdTech) and need an EdTech Copywriter.

If this is you, you’re probably struggling with:

  • Bringing in more money to your business because you’re stuck writing instead of providing your EdTech products or services to your clients
  • Finding time to write website copy, marketing material, and business processes
  • Hiring an EdTech writer who is affordable, can work on smaller projects, and knows what they’re doing
  • Outsourcing tasks to others because you don’t have processes written down
  • Employees and contractors not following instructions because the instructions aren’t written clearly

What I help you achieve as an EdTech copywriter

I can help you:

  • Get back time to serve your clients (or work less in your EdTech business)
  • Increase your business’s revenue and the productivity within your team
  • Write content and processes that are easy to understand
  • Outsource tasks to employees and contractors
  • Have confidence that your team are following processes correctly

What others are saying

“Thanks so much for helping me. Lauren rewrote website copy for me to make it sound less “Chinglish” and more like a native Australian English speaker. Her work was high-quality and she delivered it in a short amount of time. I highly recommend her. Thanks again.”

“THANK YOU SO MUCH. I’m very happy with the results!!! Would definitely use your services again! 5 STARS!!!”

“I was on a tight deadline, but Lauren quickly sent back my documents in a matter of hours. Would recommend.”

“SHE’S SOMEONE YOU CAN COUNT ON! Answers as quick as possible, respectful, and does great work!!! She’s someone I definitely trust to come back to help me out!!”

“Lauren proofread and edited my website copy and provided a few suggestions to enhance my copy too. Thanks so much. Appreciate the super fast delivery.”

How I work

I break down my services into three stages.

You reach out via my contact form and tell me what you need help with. This could be writing, re-writing, or editing a whole bunch of stuff, such as:

  • Website copy
  • Blog posts
  • Marketing material
  • Registration forms
  • Standard operating procedures
  • How-to guides
  • Documentation
  • User manuals
  • Or something else

I specialise in creating content that’s written in plain English. This decreases miscommunications with employees, contractors, and customers, which saves you a tonne of time and resources in the long run.

Once I know what you need my help with, we’ll jump on a quick 15 minute video chat together to discuss the project further. If you decide we’re an amazing fit for each other, I’ll send you a quote, you’ll pay the deposit, and I’ll be good to get started on your project.

This is the fun part where you (mostly) sit back and relax while I nerd out and do my thing. First, we’ll have a deeper conversation via video chat (up to 60 minutes) about the project specifics. Once it’s clear what you need, I’ll create the outline and send it to you for approval first. There’s no use in wasting time writing a whole heap of words first and having to start again because it wasn’t what you had in mind!

When you’re happy with the outline, I’ll start writing the first draft and email it to you once it’s done. I’ll also send the final invoice to you when I send the first draft. You’ll read over the draft, provide feedback, and send it back to me to change anything if required. (I offer 2 rounds of revisions.)

Once you’re happy with the final revisions, we’ll do a 30 second dance to celebrate the occasion! You’ll pay your invoice (if you haven’t already) according to the payment terms, and then you’ll tell all your small-business-owner friends how freakin’ amazing I am to work with! I’ll also send you a short survey to complete so I can continuously improve. It’s pretty simple, right?

How much I charge

Every project is different, so I can’t give you a one-size-fits-all price. If you want to work with me, contact me via my contact form to tell me about your project. I’ll give you a customised quote based on your specific needs, which will be identical to the invoice you receive if you decide to work with me. Don’t worry — ain’t no financial surprises here.
